Do you want a straighter smile, but without having to get metal braces? ClearCorrect® aligners safely move teeth to the desired position through the use of nearly invisible clear trays. You’ll be confidently showing off your new smile in no time!

The ClearCorrect® process is easy. Our dentist in Marietta, GA, will take scans and/or impressions of your teeth to ensure you’re a good candidate for ClearCorrect® and will develop a prescription plan customized for you. From there, progressive modeling will be used to 3D-print clear medical-grade plastic aligners personalized to fit your teeth at every step of the treatment plan. You will wear these aligners every day, except for when you eat, drink, or brush your teeth, and switch to a new tray every few weeks. The pressure from the aligners will slowly shift your teeth into the correct position until you have a flawless smile.

Each mouth is different and the time it takes for aligners to work will depend on your age and dental issue. Typically, younger patients will see results faster but on average the process will take at least 6 months. To ensure you get the best results, stick to your treatment schedule and please contact Kenmar Dental if you have any questions about your plan.

ClearCorrect® aligners have many advantages over traditional braces, giving you a new smile quickly and discreetly.

ClearCorrect®’s biggest advantage over braces is the aligner’s invisibility. Save yourself the embarrassment or self-consciousness that can often come with wearing metal braces by opting instead for clear plastic aligners, which are virtually unnoticeable in most situations. You can feel confident in your smile during interactions with others even in the middle of your treatment plan. ClearCorrect® aligners don’t affect how you speak, either, so no one even has to know you’re wearing them.

These aligners are also more comfortable than traditional braces. Metal braces are often painful after tightening, and metal wires and hardware can cut into sensitive cheek, lip, or gum tissue. With ClearCorrect®, you’ll likely feel some tightness after snapping on a new set of aligners, but any discomfort will subside after a few days at most. ClearCorrect® treatment also requires fewer check-in appointments than braces do.

ClearCorrect® patients are also free from the limitations on food and drink that come with braces because the aligners are fully removable. Simply pop off your aligners whenever you’re about to eat or drink and brush thoroughly at the beginning and end of each day without orthodontic hardware getting in your way. In other words: go ahead and eat that popcorn!

Even though you can almost forget you’re wearing them, you will need to take care of your ClearCorrectⓇ aligners. When you remove them for eating or drinking, put them in a case to keep them safe. If you put them in a tissue or off to one side it can be all too easy to throw them away by accident! If you do lose your aligners, please contact us for a new set.

Keeping your ClearCorrectⓇ aligners clean is easy:

Taking care of your aligners is important to keep them clear. If they get dirty or stained, they lose the benefit of being invisible and can also introduce more bacteria into your mouth.

For the best outcome, please follow the guidelines your dentist will give you. You will need to keep the aligners in at all times, apart from eating, drinking and brushing your teeth. Stick to the treatment plan and switch out your trays on schedule.
